Betty Everly

Betty Lou Everly, 79, of Owensboro, passed away January 11, 2019, at her home. She was born May 28, 1939 to the late Herschel and Lucille Purcell Cummings in Owensboro. Betty Lou worked the Cigar Factory, General Electric, and Pinkerton where she retired from. She enjoyed time with her grandkids and visiting the beach.
Betty Lou was preceded in death by her son, Samuel Kerry Everly, and her sister, Beverly Jane Spain.
She is survived by her husband of fifty-nine years, Samuel Everly; daughter, Devona (Mark) Grace, of Munford, TN; grandchildren, Shawna Parrish, Joshua (Becca) Grace, and Matthew Grace; great-grandchildren, Kenadi, Aria-Quinn, Kaine, Collin, Casmira, and Piper; and a sister, Joyce Anderson.
The funeral service for Betty Lou Everly will be 2PM Wednesday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory, with visitation from 12PM until the time of service. Entombment will follow at Rosehill Cemetery chapel.
