Charles O'Bryan

Charles O'Bryan, 81, of Owensboro, changed his address to Heaven on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Charles was born on February 23, 1937 to the late Francis Ellis and Lola Ann Fenwick O'Bryan. Charles was retired from Whitehall Furniture and worked at Owensboro Brick & Tile. Charles enjoyed UK basketball, cooking, but most of all loved his kids, grandkids, and his family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Stephanie Irene O'Bryan Barnett; Siblings, Edwina Jackson, Dorothy Sikes, Donald O'Bryan, and Francis "Tiny" O'Bryan.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Cecilia Faye O'Bryan, whom he thought was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen and loved so much; sons, Mark O'Bryan and his wife Kathy, Timothy O'Bryan and his wife Rebecca; grandchildren, Adam (Amanda) O'Bryan, Mathew (Jill) O'Bryan, Samantha (Allen) List, Kayla (Chris) Norris, Alisha (Logan) Simon, Zachary O'Bryan, and Autumn Barnett; 11 great grandchildren; son-in-law, J.R. Barnett; siblings, Wilma (Bill) McManaway, Gene (Carolyn) O'Bryan, Helen Richards, and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at James H Davis Funeral Home & Crematory. Entombment will follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 pm Monday and after 10:00 am on Tuesday at the funeral home.
