Mark Fortner

Mark A. Fortner, 52, of Owensboro, passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2019. He was born on August 21, 1966 in Daviess County to the late Bobby & Jo Ann Fortner. Mark was a self employed carpenter. He enjoyed fishing, watching TV, and his dogs. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Fortner.

Survivors include his wife, Rhonda Gray; a son, Garrett (Jessica) Fortner; three grandchildren, Tyler, Olivia, Nathaniel Fortner; a brother, Robert Fortner; a sister, Susie (Darrel) Stites; mother in law, Shirley Gray; two sister in laws, Rose Fortner and Kim (Steve) Best; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation is from 4:00-8:00 Tuesday and after 10:00 Wednesday at the funeral home.
