Pat McCormick

Pat J. McCormick, 80, of Utica passed away Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Mrs. McCormick was born June 5, 1938 in Yelvington to the late Gilmore "Dottie" Pulliam and Madeline Howard Pulliam. After her college education, Pat worked at City Hall in Human Resources and then as a real estate agent from which she retired. She enjoyed living and working on the farm. Pat also loved to learn new things and was always reading and writing. She obtained a degree in Naturopathy and expressed her creative talents through writing poetry and painting.

Mrs. McCormick was also preceded in death by her two brothers, Leroy and Buzzy Pulliam.

Those left to cherish her memory include her two daughters, Lisa McCormick (Don Middleton) of Owensboro and Vicki Rose and husband Michael of Louisville: former husband and loving partner, Gene McCormick of Utica; three grandchildren, Jonathan McCormick of Owensboro, who was her very favorite person in the world, Christopher Michael Rose of Louisville, and Kristin Lauren Simon (David) of Union; sister, Bettye Blackwood of Odessa, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral service for Pat McCormick will be noon Monday, November 12 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory where visitation will be from 11:00 am till the service. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery.
