Taloma "Pee Wee" Ayer

Taloma “Pee Wee” Ayer  87, of the Buel Community in McLean County, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 6, 2019 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.  Taloma Jean Carmon was born January 9, 1932 in McLean County, Kentucky to the late Roy and Nancy Carmon, was married to George Prentice Ayer August 5, 1950 and was better known as “Pee Wee” to both her family and friends.  She retired from General Electric in Owensboro, was a member of the Methodist Faith and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.  In addition to her parents, Pee Wee was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Prentice Ayer, who died February 13, 2017 and by her sister, Dolores.

Survivors include her Goddaughter, Vicky Price Passafiume of Gilbertsville; her extended family, Betty and Keith Price, Nickole Underwood & Kealey, Larkin and Tony Jones, and Vickie and Lenwood Taylor; and her special caregiver, Debbie Revlett.

Services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Wednesday at the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum at Rosehill Cemetery in Owensboro.  There will be no public visitation.  Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel is handling the arrangements for Pee Wee’s family.
