Beatrice Johnson

Beatrice Johnson, 87. Daughter of the late Mr. Ed Tharrington and Mrs. Alberta (Berdia) Tharrington was born in Altheimer, Arkansas on November 15, 1930 and was a Chicagoan since 1948. Beatrice departed this life Friday January 12, 2018 at home with loving and supportive family. In 1967 she gave her life to Christ and was a member of First Christian Assembly Church. She loved tossing and loved music. Beatrice devoted her time visiting and praying for the sick and incarcerate and leading souls to Christ. Beatrice walked faithfully with the Lord serving him diligently and without complaint, until she was called home. She attended school in Arkansas and later received her GED in Chicago, Illinois. She held several jobs at Curtis Candy Company, Helco Envelope Company and was also a Nurse's Aide. She was a wonderful Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister and Aunt.
