Elizabeth "Betty" Gottman

Elizabeth "Betty" Joan Gottman, 73, of Owensboro, died on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She was born August 30, 1945 in Daviess County, KY to the late Porter Nugent and Mary Jo Aud Nugent. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and worked over 52 years as a medical transcriptionist.

Survivors include her husband, Paul "Neil" Gottman; a daughter, Jennifer Beth Renfrow; sons, Paul Keith Gottman and Jeremy O'Neil Gottman; four grandchildren; sisters, Vicky Willcheck and Karen Weber; brothers, Jerry Nugent, Mike Nugent and Gene Nugent; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, December 31, 2018 in the chapel at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation is from 2 to 6 p.m. on Sunday and from 9 to 10 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
