Joyce Faye Jones, 75, of Owensboro, died on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at her residence. She was born on August 16, 1942 in Daviess County, KY to the late Henry Jackson & Jessie Lee Parker Knudson. She had been employed as a nurse's assistant at Owensboro Daviess County Hospital. She was also preceded in death by a son, Clifton Dennis.
Survivors include her sons, Billy Dennis, Barry Dennis (Mamie Bunn) and Robert Dennis; five grandchildren and a brother, Clifford Knudson.
Services will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 25, 2018 in the Chapel in James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday and after 1 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Joyce Faye Jones Memorial Fund, c/o James H. Davis Funeral Home, 3009 Frederica Street, Owensboro, KY 42301.
