Kim Maddox Lavery, 64, of Owensboro, the only daughter of Jean and Noel Maddox, passed from this life into the next on November 27, 2023. She was born June 2, 1959 in Panama City Beach, Florida. She moved to Owensboro at six months of age with her parents. Kim attended Tamarack Elementary School, Apollo High School and Kentucky Wesleyan College. She worked as a dental assistant with her father, Dr. Noel Maddox. In 1995, she married her loving husband, Tom Lavery. Kim was a devoted wife and homemaker for 28 years caring for her husband and numerous furry friends. She held a special place in her heart for animals.

 

Kim was preceded in death by her father, Dr. Noel Maddox.

 

She is survived by her husband, Tom Lavery; mother, Jean Maddox; sisters-in-law, Tina, Kim and Carol; aunts, Carol Herring and Audrey Hall; cousins, Larry, Steve, and Kelly; her childhood friend, Dr. Felicity Polio; and close family friend, Troy Faught.

 

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Eaton Memorial Baptist Church, 1225 W. Third Street, Owensboro, KY 42301.
