Mary Brown

Mary Ann Brown, 78, of Owensboro passed away Wednesday June 13, 2018. She was born July 30, 1939 in Owensboro to the late Ida Clark (Thompson). Mary Ann was of the Catholic faith and was a member of Immaculate Parish. She loved being with her family and working in her garden where she grew the most beautiful yellow roses. Mary Ann was generous and would always take care of others before herself.

Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Brown; Daughter, Donna Blankenship; Brother, William "Bubby" Thompson; and her granddaughter Taryn Wright.

She is survived by daughters, Kathy Ann Wright (Jason) and Shannon Brown; Grandchildren; Chloe Madden, Morgan Wright, Tovah Ore, Avery Wright and Wyatt Wright.

Services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 18, 2018 at Immaculate Catholic Church with Father John Vaughan officiating. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Sunday with prayers at 4:30 and Monday from 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
