Patsy Kelly

Patsy Louise Glover Kelly, 75, of Owensboro departed this life Monday, March 18, 2019 at the Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born January 13, 1944 in Owensboro to the late Vernon Glover and Mary Alice Deal Glover. Her church membership was sustained at the Zion Missionary Baptist Church where she sang in the choir, served on the Usher Board, Willing Worker Committee, assisted joyfully in other various functions of the church and was a member of The Order of the Eastern Star. She was employed by the Housing Authority in the city of Owensboro, KY.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories 3 sons Kent (Mattie) Kelly of Owensboro, Eric Kelly, Palm Harbor of Florida, Kelvin ‘Fred’ Kelly of Japan, 2 daughters Mary ‘Niecy’ Glover, Sherra (Timmy) Adams both of  Owensboro, 11 grandchild, 22 great grandchildren, 1 brother Danny Ray Glover of Chicago, IL., 2 sisters Audrey Smith of Owensboro, Linda ( Steven) Glover-Coleman of Chicago, IL., 1 aunt Shirley Clark of Evansville, 1 great aunt Naomi Deal of Owensboro, 1 sister in-law Ora Glover, a special friend Sam Byrd, a childhood best friend Margaret Sue Owen all of Owensboro, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, distant relatives and friends.

Funeral Services are at 12noon Saturday, March 23, 2019 at the Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Owensboro, KY.

Visitation 6pm – 8pm at the church on Friday and 11am – 12noon on Saturday Burial in Rose Hill Elmwood Cemetery Owensboro, KY. Rev. Larry D. Lewis Officiating.
