Rachel Morris

Rachel Morris, 91, of Owensboro died Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Twin Rivers Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Breckinridge County on May 15, 1927 to the late William Woods and Lelar Wilkerson Woods. She had worked at Wendell Foster and was of the Baptist faith. Rachel loved spending time with her grandchildren, working in her flowers and sewing. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul M. Morris, in 1982.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Clarence E. Morris and Barbara; three grandchildren, Penny Renfrow (Wendell), Steve Morris, and Christy Nash (Phil); two great-grandchildren, Matthew Renfrow (Karissa) and Emily Nash; two great-great-grandchildren, Kaydence Renfrow and Micah Renfrow; and two brothers, Alford Woods and Charles Woods (Patsy); and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 12:00pm on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 10:00am until 12:00pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.
