Rita Oliver

Rita “Diane” Oliver, 75, of Owensboro, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 29th 2019 at home surrounded by her family . The daughter of the late Hubert and Eva Mae Brown. Diane was born on February 16, 1944 in Owensboro, KY. Diane retired from Ragu and was a member of Deliverance Christian Center. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Diane was preceded in death by her loving husband, Pete Oliver; and daughter, Diana Faye; grandson, Camden Ke'sean; brothers, Ray and Junior Brown; and sister, Jean Hendrix.

Those left to cherish her memories are her children, James “Scott” (Pam) Oliver, Lynne (Steve) Edge and Roxana (Rick) Webb; grandchildren, Scotty Oliver, Tamara Lynne(Rowdy) Bostick, Austin Edge, Kayli Webb and Dylan Webb; great-grandchildren, Amazing Gracie Lou Bostick and Talon Bostick; sisters, Anna L Morris and Doris Madewell; brother Reverend Mike Brown; and her lifelong friend, Rayda Sampson.

Services will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday and after 9 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
