Ronny L. Meriwether, 68, of Owensboro passed away Friday, Jan. 15, 2021 at the Heartford House in Owensboro, KY. He was born on June 28, 1952. The Christian County native was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church in Owensboro, KY. He was painter and enjoyed fishing.

Ronny was Navy Veteran.

He is preceded him in death by his mother Nannie Meriwether, 2 sisters Alice Jennings and Betty Banks, and 1 brother Clarence Meriwether.

Survivors include 2 sons Andrew Meriwether of Kansas City, Missouri and Marcus Meriwether of Kansas City, Missouri, 1 daughter Vanessa Meriwether of Kansas City, Missouri, 2 sisters Ann Meriwether of Colorada Springs and Josphine Reese of Clarksville, TN., 3 brothers Rev. Isiah (Betty) Meriwether of Fort Wayne, IN., Lawrence Tom Meriwether of Owensboro, and Ricky (Diana) Meriwether of Oak Ridge, TN., 4 grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and a special care giver Sherale Greer of Owensboro, KY.

Visitation from 12noon to 1pm on January 23, 2021 at Asbury United Methodist Church in Owensboro, KY.

Private Services for immediate family only.

Burial will be in Rose Hill Elmwood Cemetery in Owensboro, KY. With Rev. Isaiah Meriwether Eulogist and Rev. Larry Holt, Officiating. Bibbs Funeral Home in Greenville, KY is in charge of arrangements.

Family and friends attending the visitation or funeral service shall be within current health and safety directives/guidelines. Those in attendance are required to wear appropriate protective masks throughout the duration of all services.
