Thomas W. Milton

Thomas W. Milton, 82, of Owensboro, passed away November 16, 2023, at Wellington Parc. He was born August 12, 1941, to the late Thomas and Alice Milton. Thomas graduated from Murray State where he earned both bachelor’s and master’s degrees.

In his early years, Mr. Milton taught science and P.E. and coached football at Foust Jr. High. Thomas also spent decades in the insurance industry. His career began with Mutual of New York and continued with the John Hancock Company. He was a member of the Owensboro Chamber of Commerce and volunteered with United Way for more than 40 years. He was a member of Owensboro Christian Church and Christ Community Church. Thomas enjoyed golfing, water skiing, traveling the world, and hunting. He was also a proud fan of his alma mater, the Murray State Racers.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Lindsay Lodmell (James); grandchildren, John Kenton, Ryan, Caroline, and Andrew Lodmell; and former spouse and dear friend, Jill Milton.
