Kevin Garrett

Kevin Garrett age 56 of Sturgis, KY died March 6, 2021 at his home. He was born on December 7, 1964 in Gary, IN to Ann Garrett and the late Woody Garrett. He worked in the smelting room and later was a loader for over 25 years at Alcoa. He was an avid outdoorsman. His great joy in life was his wife, Karron Garrett of Owensboro, who preceded him in death on November 30, 2009. Also preceding Kevin in death were his paternal grandparents, James and Elois Garrett and maternal grandparents Bill and Ada Leibenguth.

Surviving are his parents Jim and Ann Garrett of Sullivan, KY. Two brothers; Keith Garrett and wife Kimberly of Caneyville, KY, Steve (Kent) Garrett and his Karla of Cascade, Iowa. A sister Kristi Lovell and her husband Chris of Sturgis, KY. Step-son Larry Roberts of Owensboro, KY. Step-daughter Tammy Kirby and husband Chris of Owensboro, KY. 1 grandson and 4 granddaughters. Nieces and Nephews.

Expressions of sympathy can be made in the form of donations to St. Jude’s Hospital. Arrangements for a private ceremony are being made for a latter date with burial in Rosehill Cemetery in Owensboro, KY. Arrangements by Whitsell Funeral Home in Sturgis, KY.
