Virginia Beckmann

Virginia Julia Beckmann, 87, of Central City died Monday June 21, 2021 at 11:49 A.M. at Greenville Nursing and Rehabilitation in Greenville, KY.  Virginia was born July 12, 1933 in Chicago, IL and was a Certified Nurse Aide at Elmhurst Extended Care Illinois and of the Lutheran faith.  She was preceded in death by her husband Harold Beckmann, parents Walter and Julia Sanders, sons Jeffery Beckmann and Thomas Beckmann, and granddaughter Samantha Gorham.

Virginia is survived by her sons Michael (Mozelle) Beckmann of River Forest, IL, and Christopher (Erin) Beckmann of Elgin, IL; daughters Christine (Robert) Bowers of Naperville, IL, Susan (Randall) Dukes of Central City, Nancy (Michael) Nasiff of Middletown, RI, Sally Beckmann of Bartlett, IL and Janet (Steve) Akins of Princeton, IN; 20 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; brother Bobby (Kathy) Sanders of Springfield, IL and sister Gloria (Gerald) Finnegan of Mesa, AZ.

Funeral services will be Thursday, June 24, 2021, at 11:00A.M. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. Steve Akins officiating.  Entombment in Rosehill-Elmwood Cemetery in Owensboro, KY.  Visitation will be Thursday after 10:00A.M. at the funeral home.  Online condolences can be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
